Flashback to Halloween 2009 when I went as Adam Ant's Prince Charming:

 One of my best costumes to date. I loved it. Though most people thought I was a pirate... It made my whole night when walking back up Santa Monica Blvd. through the West Hollywood parade a really fabulous guy touched my arm in passing and said "Hi Prince Charming."

I hate people.

Was discussing Kathleen Hanna because I am gonna try and see The Julie Ruin, but my job is intense right now...and blah blah blah exhaustion. Determined to conquer this damn job...Anyhow, Kathleen is now OK to tour after a battle with Lyme disease. And my partner said he was not all that familiar with Bikini Kill so I played him Rebel Girl and that's why it's this weekends Saturday Happy Sog even thought it's Sunday night, I'm like 4 days behind on communicating with EVERYONE, so there blah.

Called out sick yesterday cause I just couldn't deal.
Had a nice day with the man, went on a hike.

Squirrel Nut Zippers "Suits" Music Video

More Saturday happy music. Had this song stuck in my head after I got done with meditation and yoga this morning (which really helped my mood, now I'm drinking a green shake before practicing belly dance. It's giving me gas...the shake, not the belly dance...).

I have never watched the video for this song before, and it kinda disturbing. It's also kinda weird they go to a fancy restaurant just for desserts, but I guess that's the point, so that this place can fatten you up.

I'm not sure what it is about the image of people gorging on sweets and ending up with chocolate smeared around their mouths that is so upsetting to me, but it always has been.

Love this song though. Enjoy!
